About Us

What is a MOPS group?

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups are a place to find friendship, community, resources and support for you as a woman and a mother.  It’s a place to be refreshed and encouraged, a place to connect with other moms who understand, a place to belong.  We hope you’ll join us – we promise you’ll enjoy it!

What should I expect?

At each meeting we enjoy brunch while socializing with friends (imagine finishing a whole cup of coffee!), listen to an engaging speaker talk about issues relevant to us as women, mothers and leaders, and then explore our creative side (sans crayons!) with a fun craft project.  Most importantly though, it’s a time to connect and be supported by other moms who could very well become your best friends.

When do you meet?

MOPS at Trinity has grown and we now have 2 groups!  Island MOPS meets on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month from 9:30-11:30am, and our second group, Beach MOPS, meets on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from 9:30-11:30am.  This excludes regular and school holidays, so please check our calendar for exact dates.

Is childcare available?

Yes, childcare is provided during our meetings!  Infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for in Trinity’s beautiful and clean nursery.  Childcare workers are carefully screened and trained so you can be assured your children are in the best hands.  Those 2-years and older enjoy their own fun-filled program.  Our children have a great time playing together, making crafts, and enjoying a snack.

Nursing infants are always welcome to stay with mom during the meeting.

Are there any fees?

Membership with MOPS International cost $24/year – with your registration you will receive a magazine, reusable shopping bag, and a few other little goodies.  Our dues are $35/semester – which covers our childcare supplies, craft materials, and some food.  Scholarships are available, so please do not let cost deter you from joining us!

Interested in joining us?

We would love to have you as our guest! Please email us prior to the meeting so that we can answer any of your questions and make sure childcare is available for your little ones.
